"Today I'm choosing freedom over guilt, shame, and inadequacy. Those feelings can wait for a less deserving day—because today I am free. Today, I'm glad to be me."

-Kim Cox, Author of Sometimes a Mom (coming soon!)

Welcome to Sometimes a Mom

This is the space where I share the parts of my story that
don't fit in neat boxes.

The messy middle. The in-between moments. The days when
you're a mom and the days when you're not. The goodbye
that breaks you and the hello you're not ready for.

I've been the woman waiting for negative pregnancy tests.
The woman loving kids who might leave. The woman rebuilding
her entire identity after divorce. The woman who didn't know
who she was anymore but had to keep showing up anyway.

Sometimes a Mom isn't just about motherhood—it's about the
seasons when you lose the script and have to write a new one.
When the life you planned falls apart and you're left standing
in the rubble wondering what comes next.

If you're in one of those seasons right now—the hard ones, the
uncertain ones, the ones where you don't recognize yourself—
you're in the right place.

These are my stories. The raw ones. The real ones. The ones
that didn't make it to Instagram but needed to be told anyway.

And if they help you feel a little less alone in your own story?
That's why they exist.

Grab your favorite drink. Pick a post below. Stay as long as you need.

You're not alone.
